And the prize for the most genetically-blessed hosts goes to…
The original supers staged something of a takeover at Casa Cipriani after the 2022 Met Gala: Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell joined forces with Burberry creative director Riccardo Tisci to throw a bash for guests streaming out of the Costume Institute after one of the biggest nights in the fashion calendar, along with Richie Akiva, a global nightlife powerhouse known for his venues 1OAK, Butter and the new Societe Social Club, as well as his annual Met Gala party.

Naomi and Kate, as well as Moss’s model (and now British Vogue cover star) daughter Lila, were hosted by Burberry at the event, along with Irina Shayk, Nicki Minaj, Stormzy, and British Vogue editor-in-chief and European editorial director Edward Enninful and his husband Alec Maxwell. After a swift costume change, Tisci and co decamped Downtown to continue the celebrations.
At the Casa Cipriani party, Megan Thee Stallion joined Naomi on the dancefloor, Tommy Dorfman chatted to Adwoa Aboah (who had swapped her socialite-inspired Tory Burch look for the Met for a barely-there bra that reflected the night’s lingerie-inspired fashion trend), and Jodie Turner-Smith threw shapes in Gucci’s much talked-about Adidas collab, while husband Joshua Jackson looked on in admiration. Helping to keep the party going into the small hours? A DJ set from Mark Ronson, and live performances from Saint Jhn and Burna Boy.
Photographer German Larkin was there to capture the stars letting their hair down after fashion’s big night. Scroll down to see inside the party.
